In collaboration with Indian Railways, Hitachi Rail STS India has introduced a groundbreaking Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) system, transforming the historic Tundla Railway Station into a beacon of modern efficiency along the Kanpur-Ghaziabad corridor.
Hitachi’s solution ensures safe, efficient operations, increasing track capacity and train speeds while providing real-time service updates, thereby advancing not only passenger comfort but also propelling India towards its digital empowerment goals.
To control train traffic from one location, Hitachi Rail STS India has implemented Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) System in the Kanpur-Ghaziabad section with the Operational Control Centre (OCC) at Tundla Railway Station.
Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) System is an advanced computer-based system which facilitates the train control and management of multiple signalling interlocked regions from a “central” location, ensuring easier management, increased capacity, and punctuality.
The CTC oversees rail operations over a 423km long section comprising 47 stations including 9 big yards, ensuring seamless digital management of rail traffic with unparalleled ease!
